This specimen presents a well-proportioned crystal with rich internal inclusion scenery: layers of mineral matter suspended within clear quartz that shift in tone and density as the light changes. The inclusions — likely chlorite or clay minerals — form a dense, atmospheric interior that rewards close inspection. The crystal terminates cleanly and has good natural luster on its faces.

From Meigu, Sichuan Province, China — one of the most productive localities for inclusion quartz in the world. The material from this region is prized for its clarity between inclusion zones and for the visual depth its internal minerals create. Meigu pieces are consistently sought after by collectors familiar with the variety.

Garden Quartz — also called Lodolite or Scenic Quartz — is valued precisely because no two specimens share the same internal composition. This one carries its own enclosed world: an irreproducible arrangement of form and colour suspended in time within the crystal.
